Peskov: Russian diplomats did not discuss resolving the situation in Ukraine with Trump
Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov denied information about contacts between Russian diplomats and former US President Donald Trump about normalizing the situation in Ukraine.
Earlier, Trump said that if he wins the upcoming US presidential elections, he will resolve the conflict in Ukraine.
Peskov, answering the question whether the Kremlin has any explanation for how Trump will achieve peace and whether there is any communication with Russian diplomats on this matter, said that no one has any understanding on this issue. There were also no diplomatic contacts with ex-President Trump.
