Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov commented on the tightening of rules for entry and stay in Kazakhstan. According to him, it is important that the rights of Russians are respected.
Peskov noted that one should understand the operation of the mechanism for obtaining a residence permit. For foreign citizens, including those from the EAEU, the possibility of free movement to Kazakhstan remains. Peskov pointed out that now “a lot of people have formed who were there.” He also said that the desire of the authorities to keep a record of foreigners is understandable.
“It is very important that all the legal rights of our citizens are respected and contacts with our partners, we will certainly talk about this,” he said.
From January 27, new rules for the entry and stay of immigrants come into force in Kazakhstan. They forbade “zeroing” the terms of stay in the country by leaving it for a short time.
