Sending fighter jets to Ukraine by the UK can only prolong the conflict on the territory of the country, Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President, believes.
“One can only express regret in this regard. And to state that such actions of the mentioned countries lead to an escalation of tension around this conflict, drag out this conflict, make this conflict more painful and painful for Ukraine,” Peskov said, answering a question about the possible supply of British fighter jets to Ukraine.
Peskov added that these actions will not change the outcome of the conflict and will not change the trajectory that “our country is following in terms of achieving its goals set as part of a special military operation.”
