All countries that in one way or another pump weapons into Ukraine are responsible for this, said Dmitry Peskov, the presidential press secretary.

“All this legal balancing act that we are seeing now: the exchange of statements between European capitals, Warsaw threatens Berlin with international isolation – all this also indicates that nervousness among the members of the alliance is constantly increasing, growing,” the Kremlin spokesman said.

According to him, all countries that in one way or another take part in pumping Ukraine with weapons and in raising their technological level are responsible for this. “The Ukrainian people will have to pay for all these actions, for all this pseudo-support,” he concluded.

In Europe, there is pressure on Germany from the United States and a number of EU countries because of the supply of weapons to Ukraine. It intensified before the meeting of the heads of defense ministries of NATO member countries at the American base in Ramstein, Germany, on January 20. It was expected that a decision could be made on the supply of Leopard 2 tanks to Kyiv, but again it was not possible to agree with Germany on this. Prior to this, Germany has repeatedly refused to send tanks to Ukraine.

Meeting at the Russian Foreign Ministry in Ramstein called “provocative incitement” and “raising the stakes in the conflict”. The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, warned that such actions could lead to an increase in casualties and an escalation of the conflict.
