According to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, a moratorium on public procurement law should be worked out at the government level.
He added that he did not know if Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matviyenko had discussed the idea with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“I don’t know if there were negotiations with the head of state. The topic was voiced and, of course, it should be worked out at the government level,” Peskov said.
Earlier, Valentina Matvienko put forward a proposal to suspend the law on public procurement, which provides for a contract system, until the end of the SVO. She promised to discuss this issue with the head of the Russian government.
Formerly Peskov acknowledged useful initiative of business and heads of regions on bonuses for the destruction of Western tanks in the NVO zone. In his opinion, I will burn them anyway, but because of the encouragement, the number of enthusiasts will increase.
