Peskov called “Putin’s emergency appeal” a hack

The emergency address of Russian President Vladimir Putin, broadcast on several radio frequencies on June 5, is a hack. This was announced by the press secretary of the head of state Dmitry Peskov.

“Yes, it was a hack indeed. We know about it. Now the broadcasters are being urgently informed about this, but control has already been restored,” he said (cit. according to RIA Novosti).

Earlier, a video from a hacked radio station in the Voronezh region began to spread in Telegram channels. In particular, at this “appeal”, the head of state announced the introduction of martial law in the Kursk, Bryansk and Belgorod regions, as well as plans to introduce general mobilization.

In turn, the operational headquarters of the Belgorod region refuted this information, calling it the purpose of spreading panic among the civilian population.

The Kremlin has repeatedly said that they are not discussing the second wave of mobilization. In particular, on March 14 Peskov saidthat there is no talk on this subject in the Kremlin. April 21 he confirmed this again, commenting on reports that students in Moscow universities began to issue subpoenas.
