Peskov called on Kyiv not to hope for victory in the conflict

Ukraine should have realized long ago that talking about any of their victories on the battlefield is absurd. Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov told reporters about this on Thursday, commenting on an interview with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny to The Economist.
“The Kiev regime should have understood a long time ago that even talking about any prospects for victory on the battlefield is absurd. And the sooner the Kiev regime understands this for itself, the sooner some prospects will open up for it,” said the official representative Kremlin.
In addition, Peskov noted that Russia continues to conduct a special military operation. According to him, all the goals that were set for the North Military District must be achieved.
Earlier, the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian army, Valery Zaluzhny, during an interview with The Economist, said that the fighting in Ukraine risks reaching a dead end, and the fighting will drag on for many years.
