However, the Ministry of Finance reacted to this initiative carefully. Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said that in this situation “it is necessary to do no harm.” “If we make special taxation procedures, we can create conditions when businesses are not interested in paying to the Russian budget,” he explained. Siluanov added that after evaluating the proposals of the deputies, the Cabinet of Ministers will decide on its position.
