Peskov called Budanov’s assumption about “Putin’s twins” nonsense

Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov responded to a request to comment on an interview with the head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kirill Budanov to the Daily Mail, in which he suggested that Vladimir Putin uses doubles.
“How can you comment on this? Like nonsense!” Peskov replied.
Recall that Vladimir Putin himself, in an interview for the 20 Questions for Vladimir Putin project in 2020, said that in the early 2000s, the idea to attract a double for his safety really arose, but he abandoned it.
