Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia’s Permanent Representative to International Organizations in Vienna, assessed the possibility of restoring Russian-American dialogue on strategic security issues.
“At present, the prerequisites for the restoration … of a dialogue on issues of strategic stability are not visible … For this, it is necessary that Washington abandon its hostile policy towards Moscow,” Ulyanov said.
The Russian envoy also added that the United States is now directly setting the collective West the task of inflicting a “strategic defeat” on Russia.
