The aviation industry in Russia is still experiencing a shortage of engineering and technical personnel, Nikolai Patrushev, Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, said at a meeting on training personnel for the Russian aviation industry in Rybinsk.
“Today, the total need of aviation industry enterprises is over 14,000 people,” – said Patrushev (quote from Interfax).
He noted that there is an acute shortage of designers and technologists in the aviation industry. The Secretary of the Security Council also said that the outflow of young people from the regions where universities and basic enterprises of the aircraft industry are located does not stop.
However, much attention in preparing students for work in enterprises continues to be paid. As Patrushev noted, in 2021 the “Professionality” project began to work, which provides for the integration of colleges and enterprises in the economic sector through the creation of educational and industrial clusters.
