Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus’ Kirill voted in the election of mayor of the capital

IN press service of the Russian Orthodox Church reported that Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus’ took part in voting in the Moscow mayoral election on Friday.
The Patriarch voted at polling station No. 182, located in the capital’s school No. 1799 in 1st Kadashevsky Lane, the report says.
The patriarch arrived at the polling station before the service at the Church of St. Nicholas in Tolmachi at the Tretyakov Gallery.
“The Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church filled out the ballot and put it in the ballot box,” the Russian Orthodox Church said.
In most Russian regions, elections on a single voting day will start on Friday, September 8, and will take place over three days. The main voting day will be September 10.
