Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that the country needs a new constitution. He said this on Friday during a meeting with employees of the Ministry of Justice of Armenia.
“In my opinion, as well as in the opinion of a number of colleagues, the Republic of Armenia needs a new constitution, not constitutional amendments, but a new constitution,” the government press service quotes him as saying.
He indicated that he wanted this to be a topic of wide discussion.
According to Pashinyan, the world is changing and changes are inevitably taking place in the South Caucasus region and Armenia; it is unreliable to resist them. Therefore, you need to manage them in the interests of your country.
