“Statements condemning the ethnic cleansing taking place in Nagorno-Karabakh are important from various international players, but if they are not followed by concrete actions, these statements will be considered merely as part of creating moral statistics for history,” Armenpress quotes the prime minister as saying. .
According to Pashinyan, the primary duty of the Armenian government at the moment is to carefully accept, if possible, internally displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh and provide for their most pressing needs.

On September 21, negotiations were held in Yevlakh between the delegation of the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh and representatives of the Azerbaijani authorities. Civilians of Karabakh thanked Russian peacekeepers for their help: they escorted convoys with residents of Karabakh who were moving to Armenia after the capitulation of the authorities of the unrecognized republic. By the morning of September 28 to Armenia from Nagorno-Karabakh arrived more than 65,000 people. The President of the unrecognized NKR Samvel Shahramanyan signed a decree on the termination of its existence from January 1, 2024 and the dissolution of all state institutions and organizations.
