Russian parliamentarians are dealing with complaints from relatives of participants in the special operation, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Inna Svyatenko told Vedomosti. According to her, as a member of the parliamentary working group on special military operations, she receives weekly letters from the wives and mothers of participants in the special operation.

“[Обращения касаются] enrollment in educational institutions at the place of residence, assignment of a title, determination of disability and many other issues,” the senator explained. At the same time, she clarified that vacation issues are under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Defense; Vedomosti sent a request there.

On September 15, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Defense Andrei Kartapolov stated that mobilized Russians would be able to leave the combat zone only after the end of the special operation. “They will return home after the completion of a special military operation. No rotation is provided. They are entitled to vacation for every six months of service, and they now go on these vacations,” the deputy said.
