Pamfilova: journalists with fake accreditations appeared at polling stations

The head of the Central Election Commission, Ella Pamfilova, reported attempts to commit illegal actions that were registered at a number of polling stations on the first day of voting in the Russian presidential election.

“In St. Petersburg and in a number of other regions, journalists with fake accreditations appeared at polling stations,” said the head of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation.

Pamfilova added that these individuals are “trying to carry out illegal actions.”

Earlier, the CEC reported that by 10:20 the turnout in the elections was 2.89%. Basically, this is data for 42 regions where early voting took place.
