Online stores reorganized to meet the needs of CBO participants

The shortage of “civilian” equipment for the army is felt less and less

Immediately after the announcement of partial mobilization in Russia, there was a shortage of equipment in stores that could be needed by the participants of the NWO. Of course, the army fully provides for their needs, but the relatives of the fighters and volunteers continue to buy thermal underwear, sleeping bags, shoes, first aid kits and other similar things. All this is never superfluous in a combat situation. It seems that business has also mobilized: we did not find a shortage of “civilian” things needed for the fighters.

The picture on Russian marketplaces (platforms that bring together small online stores and delivery services) is quite optimistic. The main items from the “take with you to the front” lists can be purchased with delivery “tomorrow or the day after tomorrow”.

The prices aren’t outrageous either. Thermal underwear: in the range from 1200 to 4000 rubles. Sleeping bags for “minus 20” from 3000 to 7000 rubles. From 3 to 5 thousand rubles – winter berets (possibly more expensive).

In offline stores, everything is a little more expensive, but there is a plus: you can go and try on the same shoes in person. And this is a big bonus, especially in relation to shoes.

“Manufacturers have pulled themselves up, there is everything from civilian equipment, from underwear to hats and berets,” the owner of a military and hunting equipment store confirms to MK. “Sew in Russia about 60 percent, the rest is China, but not bad.”

Regarding the quality of the products, the store owner said that complaints are received periodically only on berets – and then, first of all, because of the improper use of shoes. “They buy membrane shoes, gore-texes, and dry them on a fire, of course, after that the membrane turns into a pumpkin, and the feet begin to sweat a lot, and sometimes the shoes leak. – says the seller. – Such shoes need to be dried from the inside, stuffing newspapers or whatever, or with a hairdryer – whatever you can find. If there is only a fire, hammer good stakes and put boots on them with the soles up. And not close to the fire, but a meter from it, if the fire is good.

At the same time, shortages continue with protective equipment – helmets and bulletproof vests, although not as severe as in September, the store owner said. “There are real queues for these products, and the army is in the first priority, then close volunteer organizations, little goes to retail, so you have to“ catch ”, – the entrepreneur said.

A similar picture is observed in online stores: formally, there are protective products in the catalogs, but often many positions are opposed to “out of stock” or “check the price”. Which, obviously, means: it will be difficult to get, but we will try for extra money. As in “Beware of the car”: you need to bring it, you need to hold it …

The grocery components of tactical kits, fortunately, remain the same as they were in all grocery stores. But with medicines – again, as it turns out, not all is well. There is still a problem with antibiotics, to which the “good old” biseptol has now been added: in pharmacies in Moscow, according to those who are looking for it to treat bronchitis, there is practically no drug. Hemostatics, that is, modern dressing bags, have not appeared in pharmacies. But they are on marketplaces at a price of 2,000 rubles per pack (usually sold in pairs, which means 5-6 thousand). And yet – there are already equipped, in comfortable backpacks, tactical first aid kits, pouches. There is usually a hemostatic bag included.

– The acquisition of ready-made first-aid kits is the first priority, they are taken in large wholesale lots. Retail on a residual basis, – explained “MK” in a company that produces hemostatic bags.

Thus, there is no longer a clear shortage of “civilian” things: in a few weeks, business has managed to respond to increased demand. With the exception of those sectors where it is impossible to expand quickly: bulletproof vests with helmets are produced at certified factories from special raw materials, the same can be said about the utterly regulated pharmaceuticals.
