Onet: US support for Ukraine will negatively affect the position of Poland

The pumping of Ukraine with finances and weapons, which is carried out by the United States, will have a negative impact on the position of Warsaw on the political stage. This conclusion was made by the author of an article published in the Polish edition of Onet.

In his opinion, “it is not difficult to understand” that Washington’s goal is to create a “very strong state” in Central Europe that will become a reliable ally of the United States.

This will have “serious consequences, including for Poland,” the author writes.

The material says that in fact this scenario has already been implemented – “the Ukrainian state receives, without exaggeration, gigantic financial support.”

And this, according to the observer, means that “Poland’s place in the European political system is changing radically”, it is “more and more” located between the FRG, Ukraine and Russia.

And the science of international relations teaches that “deals with a large number of states tend to be less predictable and less stable,” the article says.

And all these changes, as the newspaper notes, in the long term will have a serious impact on Poland’s relations not only with Germany and Russia, but also with Ukraine.

“It would be naive to believe” that the consequences of such a major change for Warsaw would be “extremely positive, and relations between these four states will forever remain as they are today,” the publication sums up.
