As a result of a mortar attack in the Glushkovsky district of the Kursk region, one person was injured from among the repair team involved in restoring power supply in two settlements, informed in his Telegram channel, the governor of the region Roman Starovoit.
“Today, during the restoration of power supply in the village of Krasnooktyabrsky and the village of Volfino, the repair team came under mortar fire, one of the workers was slightly injured, he was provided with the necessary medical assistance,” he wrote.
Starovoit clarifiedthat power supply in settlements has been restored almost completely, with the exception of one street, where 14 houses remain without electricity. According to him, the repair work will be completed tomorrow.
Earlier in the day, the governor of the Kursk region reported on the mortar shelling of the village of Krasnooktyabrsky – according to him, 12 arrivals were recorded. There were no casualties, but power lines were damaged, due to which the settlements of Krasnooktyabrsky and Volfino were left without electricity.
On January 25, Starovoit reported that the Otruba farm in the Glushkovsky district came under fire from the Ukrainian side. According to him, there were no casualties among the citizens, power lines were damaged, due to which the village of Tetkino and the village of Popovo-Lezhachi were left without electricity.
In the Kursk region, two people were injured in a drone attack on January 24. Starovoit also reported this. As the governor clarified, the drone dropped an explosive device in the village of Gornal, Sudzhansky district.
After the start of the special operation, the Ukrainian military began to regularly shell the border regions of Russia. On October 19, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, a medium level of response was introduced in eight border regions, including Crimea, Sevastopol, Belgorod and Kursk regions.
In addition, the Kursk region has a “yellow” (high) level of terrorist threat, this week the authorities of the region extended this regime until February 4.
