One person died as a result of the shelling of the city of Valuyki, Belgorod Region

One person was killed, two more were injured as a result of shelling by the Ukrainian military of the city of Valuyki in the border area of the Belgorod region, informed Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov in his Telegram channel.
“The Armed Forces of Ukraine fired on Valuyki. The air defense system worked, but there is destruction on the ground. According to preliminary information, one civilian died. Medical assistance is being provided to two victims on the spot, ”he wrote at night.
The governor specified that the substation was damaged during the shelling, due to which the power supply of the city was disrupted. Eight private houses and three cars also caught fire. Later, the head of the region announced the restoration of power supply, with the exception of Shkolnaya Street, on which residential buildings were damaged. The authorities will help residents with the restoration of homes and personal vehicles, he added.
The day before, Gladkov reported on the shelling of the villages of Nekhoteevka and Krasny Khutor, as a result of which no one was injured. In Krasny Khutor, 14 households were damaged, and in Nekhoteevka – caught fire after the shelling of the customs terminal.
Since the beginning of the special military operation on the territory of Ukraine, the Belgorod region has been repeatedly shelled. As a result, some settlements were resettled. Since April 11, the “yellow” level of terrorist danger has been in effect throughout the region, it has been extended many times, now it is valid until September 22.
