On May 23, Russian President Vladimir Putin will present state awards in the field of culture, cosmonautics and education in the Kremlin. This was reported by the press service of the head of state.
“On May 23, the ceremony of presenting state awards by the President will take place in the Catherine’s Hall of the Kremlin. The activities of outstanding Russians in the field of culture, cosmonautics, education, as well as a number of other areas will be noted, – says in the message.
The day before, on May 21, the journalist of the program “Moscow. Kremlin. Putin” Pavel Zarubin informedthat this week the president will hold a ceremony of presenting state awards and will take part in a number of other events. In particular, Putin will meet with the leaders of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) at a summit in Moscow, and will also hold a meeting with members of the all-Russian organization “Business Russia” on Entrepreneurship Day on May 26.
Earlier today, the Kremlin confirmed the talks between Putin and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko on May 24. Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov clarifiedthat the leaders of the two countries will have the opportunity to “talk within the framework of events under the auspices of the EAEU.”
