In the LPR, since 2014, 65 children have died from Ukrainian actions, and another 186 children have been injured. This information was provided by the Commissioner for Children’s Rights in the Republic Inna Shvenk.
“From 2014 to the present, 251 children have suffered at the hands of Ukrainian punitive forces, of which 186 children were injured of varying degrees of severity and 65 children, unfortunately, died,” the Ombudsman said.
Schwenk spoke about this during a press conference, which was dedicated to the problem of violation of children’s rights in Ukraine.
Earlier, the Commissioner for Human Rights in the LPR, Victoria Serdyukova, stated that since the beginning of the conflict in Donbass, more than 3.1 thousand civilians have died. At the same time, according to her, since the beginning of the Northern Military District, 192 people have been killed in the LPR, of which 22 were children, and 30 children were injured.
