Oleg Shein decided to dismiss from the post of head of the faction of the SR in the Astrakhan Regional Duma

Members of the Just Russia (SR) faction in the Duma of the Astrakhan region decided to resign Oleg Shein from the post of chairman of the deputy association, he was replaced by Khamzat Daudov. The latter told Vedomosti about this, specifying that “the procedure has not yet been completed.”
Three deputies were present at the meeting of the faction (the SR faction in the Duma consists of five people), all of them voted for the change of the chairman. Daudov clarified that the corresponding proposal was put forward by all Right Russians. He did not name the reason for Shein’s resignation. Shein himself and his wife Elena did not participate in the meeting of the faction. Shein told Vedomosti that he was notified of the faction’s meeting two hours before it began. He refrained from commenting on the decision of his colleagues.
Oleg Shein is one of the founders of A Just Russia, he was repeatedly elected to the State Duma from this party. On April 28, the politician announced his resignation from the post of head of the Astrakhan regional branch of the SR, which he had held since the founding of the party in 2006. Shein called disagreements with the course of the party’s co-chairman Sergei Mironov the reason for this decision. At the same time, the Astrakhan politician did not hand over his party card.
