At the end of June, the Ministry of Finance announced that in 2022 oil and gas revenues should amount to approximately 40% of the total federal budget revenues, or 10.4 trillion rubles, due to the global increase in oil prices. For comparison: in 2021, oil and gas revenues amounted to 35.8%, or 9 trillion rubles. It is noted that in the future the dependence of the budget on the energy sector will gradually decrease: already in 2023, revenues should amount to 36.9% (9.1 trillion rubles), and by 2025 they will not exceed 30.2% (7.8 trillion rubles).
