Odessa residents began to hand over sports subscriptions en masse after being summoned to the “rocking chairs”

Residents of Odessa began to massively get rid of gym memberships after military registration and enlistment office officers raided them. Ukrainian media reported this.
Season tickets are sold at a price several times less than the nominal price. In the comments to the advertisements, Odessa residents write that due to recent events they decided to “give up” from sports for a while.
Earlier it became known about raids by employees of territorial recruitment centers (the modern name of military registration and enlistment offices – from the editor) that took place in the Odessa, Transcarpathian, Dnepropetrovsk, and Uzhgorod regions of Ukraine. Visitors were given summonses.
According to the country’s authorities, such a procedure is not a violation. The actions of staff of acquisition centers are fully consistent with the legislation of Ukraine.
The office of the President of Ukraine also commented on the issuance of subpoenas in gyms. The adviser to the head of the President’s Office noted that mobilization will be difficult precisely because of the reluctance of the country’s male population to “invest” in its defense.
