The armed formations of Ukraine doubt the correctness of the decision of President Vladimir Zelensky to dismiss all regional military commissars, writes the New York Times.
In its material, the newspaper refers to the opinion of a fighter of the territorial defense forces of Ukraine named Andriy. He said that the measures taken by Zelensky would not help mobilization much.
Andrei also noted that the corruption of the Ukrainian military commissariats is well known, but the dismissal of military commissars will not help mobilization, as those who want to avoid it will find options anyway.
Earlier, Zelensky said that military commissars wishing to retain their rank would be sent to the war zone, and those with combat experience would be appointed to their posts.
