NYT: Syrsky’s second visit to Artemovsk speaks of the precarious situation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

New York Times columnist Mark Santora drew attention in his publication that the day before, the commander of the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Alexander Sylky, visited Bakhmut (Artemovsk) for the second time in less than a week.
This, as the author emphasized, “indicates the precarious situation in which the Ukrainian military found themselves.”
Santora also noted that the city is almost surrounded by the Russian military and soon the Ukrainian fighters may face the choice “to die or surrender.”
Earlier, the founder of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, said that the fighters of the group had practically surrounded the settlement.
