Edition New York Times published an investigation in which it found out the details of the attack on the market in Konstantinovka.
According to the authors of the publication, most likely the explosion was associated with a hit by a missile fired by the Ukrainian military from a Buk launcher.
Journalists studied traces on the ground, fragments of destructive elements, as well as eyewitness accounts. After analyzing all this data, they stated that at the moment they do not have information on how exactly the Ukrainian missile could explode in Konstantinovka.
“Representatives of the Kyiv regime immediately after the strike tried to prevent journalists from entering the area where the strike took place. They managed to get there later and collect parts of the used weapons,” the publication writes.
The authors clarified that the rocket could have deviated from its course due to an electronics failure or damage to the guide parts when the projectile was launched.
