Russian oil will find its buyers, since this energy resource has always been and will be in demand on world markets, said Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, transmit “RIA News”.

“Russian oil is in demand on world markets, oil will find its buyers,” Novak said.

The Deputy Prime Minister stressed that Russia is the largest supplier of oil to the world energy markets. According to him, the Russian energy resource has always been and will be in demand. Despite the fact that logistics chains will now change, Russia does not see “any tragedy” in this, Novak said.

December 5, 2022 It entered into force a ban on the supply of Russian oil by sea to the EU countries. Along with it, a price ceiling for Russian energy resources was introduced at the level of $60 per barrel. The restrictions were approved by the G7 countries (G7, including the UK, Germany, Italy, Canada, the USA, France and Japan), as well as the EU countries and Australia. The size of the marginal price was agreed upon within a week. As a result, the EU countries managed to agree only on December 3.

After that, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov informedthat Russia is preparing a response to the introduction by the European Union of a price ceiling for Russian oil. The Kremlin spokesman stressed that Russia does not recognize a price ceiling for Russian oil. According to him, this decision is “a step towards the destabilization of global energy markets.”

At the same time, Peskov said that as a result of this, Russian oil prices will change, noting that the restrictions imposed are “a step towards destabilizing global energy markets.” The presidential spokesman also said that the price ceiling and the oil embargo would not affect the financing and progress of the special operation. According to him, the Russian economy “has the necessary potential to meet all needs within the NWO.”

In October, Russian President Vladimir Putin during a speech at the forum “Russian Energy Week» declaredthat Russia will not supply energy to those countries that will introduce a price ceiling on oil. According to him, Russia is a reliable partner and “always fulfills its obligations.” In this, according to Putin, Russia is “dramatically different” from Western countries, which “cynically refused to fulfill” contracts previously concluded with Russian companies.
