Russian oil supplies to India increased 22 times in 2022, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said. He noted that the sale of energy resources last year provided 42% of budget revenues against 36% in 2021. This year, Russia is going to continue reorienting supplies from the West.
At the final meeting of the board of the Ministry of Energy, Mr. Novak said that the majority of Russian energy supplies in 2022 were redirected to the markets of “friendly” countries. “If we take, for example, oil supplies to India, they increased 22 times last year. Deliveries to the PRC, to other markets have grown, and this is also the result of the great work that has been done in the industry, ”he said (quoted by TASS).
