Banki.ru is the largest Russian financial portal, which includes forums, a news agency, a financial supermarket and interactive services. It was founded in 2005 by Kirill and Philip Ilyin-Adaev. In 2020, they announced that they had sold their shares and left the company. At the same time, the Elbrus Capital and Winter Capital funds became buyers.

In 2013, Russia Partners became the owner of a 30% stake in Banki.ru, having acquired this stake from the Finam investment holding for $6 million. Later, in 2014, the fund bought another 10% from Ilyin-Adaev and his family. After the sale of the share of the Ilyin-Adaev family in 2020, a Vedomosti source estimated the value of the asset at $50-70 million. Now the marketplace asset is estimated at $198.8 million (15 billion rubles), and the cost of the Russia Partners package itself may be in the region $68.4-84.8 million, the source said RBC.

According to SPARK, Banki.ru is owned by the Cypriot company Banki.ru Holding Ltd. According to the Cypriot registry, 59.8% of Banki.ru Holding Ltd. owns Nuance Systems Ltd., registered in the British Virgin Islands.
