NovaBev Group reduced shipments of its own brands by 7.5% in January-September

NovaBev Group (“NovaBev Group”, former Beluga Group) in January-September reduced total shipments of alcoholic products by 1.2% compared to the same period in 2022, to 11 million deciliters (dal), follows from reporting companies.
Shipments of own brands over the nine months decreased by 7.5%, while the figures for imported brands increased – +29.3%. In the third quarter of 2023, total shipments increased by 7.3% to 4.2 million decaliters. Of these, sales of our own products increased by 1.5%, and of imported brands by 33.7%.
The number of outlets of the VinLab retail chain, which is part of the NovaBev Group, exceeded 1,580 in September. Sales volume increased over nine months by 33.3%, traffic by 24%, and the average bill by 7.5%.
As previously reported, NovaBev Group’s revenue for the first half of the year increased by 14% and reached 47.9 billion rubles, and net profit increased by 35%, to 3 billion rubles. The company’s EBITDA amounted to RUB 7.6 billion, an increase of 5%. Total shipments of alcohol exceeded 7 million decaliters.
In the first quarter of 2023 NovaBev Group reduced vodka production by 11%, to 1.96 million decaliters, year on year. The company explained that the results of the first quarter of 2023 were affected by abnormal shipments in March 2022 associated with political events.
