Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said that according to current estimates, non-oil and gas revenues in 2023 and 2024 will be significantly higher than the approved plan. At the same time, he clarified that in connection with this, budget expenditures may be increased.

“Now we have better macroeconomics and we see that this year it will be better with income and better next year. Therefore, the costs will increase. Significant enough (increase.— ”b”) in terms of non-oil and gas revenues both in this and in the next,” Mr. Siluanov told reporters (quoted from TASS).

Commenting on the possible amount of budget spending, the minister explained that the government has not yet discussed all the options. According to him, the final amount will mainly depend on the excess of the plan for income. At the same time, in 2024 the government plans to redistribute about 450 billion rubles. budget spending.

Non-oil and gas revenues, according to the three-year plan, are projected at 17.191 trillion rubles. in 2023, 18.584 trillion rubles. in 2024, 19.491 trillion rubles. in 2025 Oil and gas revenues are expected to be slightly more than 8 trillion rubles. in 2023–2025.

Oil and gas revenues, on the contrary, decreased by 47% and amounted to 3.382 trillion rubles. The agency attributes this to a high base last year, as well as a decline in Urals oil prices and a reduction in gas exports.

The budget deficit, follows from the data of the department, in the first half of 2023 amounted to 2.595 trillion rubles. Revenues – 12.3 trillion rubles. According to the forecast of the Ministry of Finance, in 2023 the deficit should amount to 2.9 trillion rubles, in 2024 – 2.2 trillion rubles, and in 2025 – 1.3 trillion rubles.
