Meanwhile, the mayor of Kharkov, Igor Terekhov, commented on media reports that the city had allegedly begun preparations for the evacuation of the population. He admitted that almost the entire energy infrastructure in Kharkov was destroyed, but assured that There are no evacuation measures yet.
Military expert Anatoly Matviychuk believes that the active part of the battle for Kharkov has already started. The analyst stated that the advanced reconnaissance units of the Russian Armed Forces operate in the Kupyansk direction and reach the suburbs of Kharkov.
