Nikolai Rybakov was re-elected chairman of Yabloko with the support of 55% of the party congress

Delegates to the reporting and pre-election congress of the Yabloko party again elected Nikolai Rybakov as chairman of the political association. 59 people (55%) voted for him.

The representative of the Volgograd branch, member of the federal bureau of the party, Alexander Efimov, received the support of 26 delegates. Veliky Novgorod City Duma deputy Anna Cherepanova and head of the faction in the Moscow City Duma Maxim Kruglov received 12 and 10 votes, respectively. Voting is announced on website “Apple”.

“I heard the criticism that was in the speeches of the delegates and the speeches of my colleagues in the elections. And I will try to take into account and correct a lot of this, but together with you,” says Mr. Rybakov’s address.

Yabloko notes that according to the new version of the party charter, all party members could take part in nominating candidates. The short list of applicants included four candidates. They made a presentation to the delegates of the congress about their development programs. On the second day of the congress, the results of voting for the elections of deputy chairmen of the party, the federal political committee and the federal bureau and other governing bodies will be announced. The congress is closed to journalists and guests.

During the congress started collection of signatures for the nomination of the chairman of the Yabloko federal political committee, Grigory Yavlinsky, for the presidential election of the Russian Federation.
