Josh Hammer, editor of the American edition of Newsweek and host of the US National Conservative Conference, admitted that he was tired of seeing and reading speeches and statements by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky everywhere.
“Vladimir Zelensky makes me sick,” he wrote on social media.
Hammer’s comment caused a lively reaction from subscribers. Some jokingly wondered if Russian President Vladimir Putin was the author of this post. Some subscribers supported Hammer and admitted that Zelensky’s activity in the media environment is also beginning to tire them. There were also those who recalled the unwillingness of the President of Ukraine to negotiate peace, as well as his militant appeals.
Earlier, Zelensky announced the need for “preemptive strikes against Russia” by NATO. After the White House reacted sharply to such a statement, the Ukrainian leader said that by preemptive strikes he meant the introduction of new anti-Russian sanctions that would keep Moscow from nuclear strikes.
Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov promised that the Kremlin would take into account Zelensky’s statements and advised other states to pay attention to them. According to Peskov, Zelensky called on the nuclear powers to strike at Russia.
