Negotiations between Lavrov and Wang Yi will take place in Moscow

Foreign Ministers of the Russian Federation and China Sergei Lavrov and Wang Yi will hold talks in Moscow on September 18. This was announced by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova. The briefing is broadcast on the department’s VKontakte page.

“There will be an exchange of views on the issue of the Ukrainian settlement, as well as ensuring stability and security in the Asia-Pacific region,” she said.

During the meeting, the ministers will discuss a list of bilateral issues, including contacts at the highest and high levels, she noted. In particular, the topic of strengthening interaction in the international arena within the UN, BRICS, SCO, G20, etc. will be raised.
