Nebenzya announced Russia’s readiness to fulfill the tasks of the NMD through negotiations

Russia is ready to end the special military operation (SVO) when there is no longer a threat to Russia from the territory of Ukraine, the goal of the SVO can be achieved both through negotiations and peacefully, Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Vasily said at a meeting of the UN Security Council for Ukraine Nebenzya.

“It will be possible to end the NWO only when there is no longer a threat to Russia from the territory of Ukraine and when discrimination for the Russian-speaking population of this country ends. If this result can be achieved through negotiations, we are ready for such a scenario. If not, all the tasks set will be achieved by military means,” declared Nebenzya.

According to him, Kyiv is now putting forward the idea of ​​a “peace summit”, emphasizing that it is Moscow that does not want peace, and not hiding that Ukraine means by this the capitulation of Russia, which should be fixed by the international community. At the same time, last fall, Kyiv ruled out the possibility of dialogue, the corresponding decree was signed by President Volodymyr Zelensky, Nebenzia recalled.

“Nothing else but the desire of Kyiv and its Western sponsors to continue the battle “to the last Ukrainian”, this legislative provocation cannot be explained,” the permanent representative said.

Ukraine, according to Nebenzi, eventually turned into a “NATO PMC”: the country is supplied with weapons and given instructions on shelling, and the Ukrainian people are “forced to fight for the sake of other people’s tasks.”

Russia’s special operation in Ukraine began on February 24. Russian President Vladimir Putin called the protection of the inhabitants of Donbass, as well as the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, its goals. During the special operation, Russian troops took control of the LPR, as well as most of the DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Subsequently, these territories became part of Russia, and on October 19 martial law was introduced in the regions.

Since the start of the special operation, the parties have held talks several times in February and March. The first three face-to-face meetings took place in Belarus, and the fourth round of the Russian-Ukrainian dialogue was held on March 29 in Istanbul. After that, the process was frozen, since Kyiv withdrew from it. Moscow has repeatedly stated that it is open to negotiations. At the same time, Ukraine has a document preventing their resumption. On October 4, Zelensky signed a decree refusing to negotiate with Russia as long as Vladimir Putin is its president.

At the Russian Foreign Ministry this week declaredthat, with a possible resumption, negotiations should take place without intermediaries, since the West is trying to influence the course of the dialogue, based on its own political and economic interests.
