NATO Secretary General assessed the likelihood of Georgia joining the alliance

NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg suggested that Georgia will become a member of the alliance

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said at a briefing in Tbilisi that the alliance supports Georgia’s desire to join the bloc.

The Bucharest summit decision assumes that Georgia will become a NATO member state, Stoltenberg said. He stated that Georgia must implement reforms aimed at strengthening the rule of law.

Stoltenberg met with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.
