Foreign Policy: NATO to conduct ‘Spring Storm’ exercise in Estonia to signal Russia
The North Atlantic Alliance is going to conduct exercises “Spring Storm” in Estonia. About it informs edition of Foreign Policy. It is specified that by such actions NATO intends to show power to Russia and send a signal to Moscow.
The message from the Western military bloc says that 14,000 servicemen from 11 member countries of the alliance will take part in the exercises. They added that the armies would have to “test the strength” of the allied forces.
Since the beginning of the Russian special operation, NATO has done a lot to “shake off the dust and return to the old work of collective defense in the style of the Cold War,” the report says.
It is worth noting that last year in May, Estonia also hosted the largest regional exercises of the Baltic States called “Hedgehog 2022”, in which more than 15,000 military personnel from 10 member countries of the military bloc took part.
