NATO General: Western inaction will lead to the defeat of Ukraine

General Philip Breedlove, former Supreme Allied Commander Europe, spoke with Newsweek about three possible scenarios in the conflict in Ukraine. According to him, in two of them the advantage will be on Russia’s side, since Moscow has more people and resources.
In the first scenario, if the West does not take any action, then Ukraine will ultimately suffer defeat. In the second scenario, if the West refuses to help Kyiv, this could lead to Ukraine completely coming under Russian control.
The general also suggested that the West providing everything Kyiv needed could lead to Ukraine’s “victory” in the conflict, but did not specify what exactly he meant by this victory.
In light of Western media claims about possible US and EU fatigue with the Ukrainian conflict, as well as weakening support for the Zelensky regime, US and European officials are discussing the possible consequences of peace negotiations with Russia. These discussions include broad outlines of what Ukraine may have to give up to reach an agreement.
