The National Anti-Terrorism Committee (NAC) warned of liability for participation in illegal actions under the conditions of the counter-terrorist operation (CTO) regime, writes TASS with reference to the press service of the department.

“There are recorded cases of provocative messages spread among the population calling on citizens to take part in unauthorized rallies and protests in support of the illegal actions of PMC Wagner. In this regard, the operational headquarters informs that these actions are criminal, administrative measures or criminal liability will be applied to the participants,” the message says.

Now the CTO regime is in effect in Moscow and the Moscow Region, and security measures have also been strengthened in a number of other regions. This is happening against the backdrop of events related to the founder of Wagner PMC Yevgeny Prigozhin.

On the evening of June 23, on social networks associated with Prigozhin, on his behalf, it was announced about a missile attack on one of the rear camps of a military company and other statements were circulated. The Ministry of Defense stated that reports of attacks on Wagner PMC fighters are not true and are an “information provocation.”

On the evening of June 24, the Pool of the First Telegram channel, close to the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, reported that Prigozhin accepted the proposal of the Belarusian leader to stop the movement of PMC Wagner and de-escalate tension. A little later, Prigozhin himself confirmed that the movement of his military equipment deep into Russia would be stopped, the fighters would return to the camps.
