Musk warned of the risks of a third world war due to US policies

The US political course could lead humanity to a third world war, American entrepreneur Elon Musk said during a podcast with investor David Sachs.

According to Musk, Washington’s political course is “forcing Russia and Iran to enter into an alliance with China.” The entrepreneur emphasizes that the union of these countries will represent an impressive counterbalance to the West. If the interests of the parties collide, then we can expect a “large-scale battle.” In such a development of events, the coalition with the United States will not have an advantage in industrial power, since Russia has raw materials, and China has industrial potential, the entrepreneur warned. Musk considers this combination ideal from the point of view of war.

“It is possible that we will never recover from the third world war. And I think her risk is increasing rapidly at the moment,” he added (quote according to TASS). Musk called on the United States to abandon the policy of confrontation.

Musk also commented conflict in Ukraine. According to him, “this is the sacrifice of a large number of Ukrainian youth in the trenches.” He is confident that a pragmatic solution for the West would be “to achieve peace in Ukraine and restore normal relations with Russia.”

In October, in the report of the US Congressional Commission, which deals with issues of strategic concept, it was said about the need to build up our own nuclear potential to possibly deter Russia and China.

Russian President Vladimir Putin responded to these statements. He explained, that “we are all preparing for war,” since Russia follows the well-known principle “if you want peace, prepare for war.” Putin stressed that if the United States wants to fight with Russia, it will be “a completely different war,” and not a special operation.
