Musk: Starlink does not sell its terminals to Russia

[ad_1]

The owner of SpaceX, Elon Musk, denied claims about the sale of Starlink satellite communication terminals to Russia. He emphasized that such statements are untrue, since Starlink terminals are not supplied to Russia either directly or through intermediaries.

Previously, some news sources, citing the Ukrainian military, disseminated information that Russian troops could use Starlink terminals. In addition, the Ukrainian military complained about an incomprehensible drop in the speed of the Starlink satellite communication, which they have been using since 2022.

Starlink satellite communication terminals were provided to Ukraine by SpaceX and are used by the Ukrainian military to control drones. Musk himself has repeatedly spoken out in favor of a diplomatic resolution to the conflict in Ukraine.
