American entrepreneur Elon Musk spoke out against financing Ukraine if this is done to the detriment of the needs of the United States. He wrote about this on his account on the social network X (formerly Twitter).
“I agree with (and provide) support for Ukraine, but the needs of the United States must certainly be a priority,” he wrote.
September 30 US House of Representatives approved an interim government funding project that will enable it to operate within 45 days. He excludes the provision of additional financial assistance to Ukraine. The interim budget will contain funds to cover costs associated with eliminating the consequences of natural disasters within the United States. The document was later approved by the Senate and signed by US President Joe Biden.
Russian authorities have repeatedly criticized the supply of Western weapons to the Ukrainian authorities. The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, warned that pumping Ukraine up with weapons is bringing NATO closer to the dangerous point of a direct military clash with Russia.
