First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council and Secretary of the General Council of United Russia, Andrey Turchak, criticized fellow party member Andrei Gurulev for publishing an appeal by the commander of the 58th Army of the Southern Military District (SMD), Major General Ivan Popov. The head of the working group on the special operation said that the general posted his audio commentary on the removal of the commanders and fighters of the 58th Army in closed chats and this appeal did not imply publicity.

“The fact that the “deputy” Gurulev somehow got it and made a political show out of it, let it remain on his conscience. Like his other statements and comments,” Mr. Turchak wrote in his Telegram channel.
