Moskalkova discussed with the Ombudsman of Ukraine the missing servicemen

In the course of contacts with the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmitry Lubinets, the question of the whereabouts of the missing Russian servicemen was raised, Russian Ombudsman Tatyana Moskalkova said.
“We exchanged lists of missing servicemen. Today I can say about the results that we found a number of people who are alive, are in captivity, ”said the Ombudsman (quote according to TASS).
According to her, Lubinets, for his part, carried out work to establish the location of Russian military personnel. More than 22 people were found, some of them were returned home, Moskalkova added.
That Moskalkova and Lubinets will meet, became known on January 9. It was reported that their meeting would take place on January 12-14 in Turkey on the sidelines of the Future of Human Rights in the 21st Century forum organized by the Turkish Ombudsman.
The first face-to-face talks between the Ombudsmen of Russia and Ukraine took place in October 2022, when an exchange of prisoners took place under the control of Moskalkova and Lubinets. Then 110 people returned to Russia, and 108 to Ukraine.
