Moscow’s revenues for six months exceeded expectations by half and amounted to 1.8 trillion rubles

Moscow budget revenues for the first six months of 2022 amounted to 53.7% of the planned values for the current year. In total, the capital budget of Moscow for January-June received 1 trillion 779.5 billion rubles. This is reported TASS with reference to the press service of the Moscow Department of Finance.
Thus, compared to the same period last year, Moscow’s revenues increased by 18.3%, or 274.8 billion rubles. The amount of tax and non-tax revenues for the first six months of 2022 amounted to 1 trillion 739.5 billion rubles, their share in total revenues is 97.8%.
Income from personal income tax for this period amounted to 710.8 billion rubles. (48.5% of the annual plan), the growth in this indicator compared to the same period last year amounted to 19%, or 113.2 billion rubles.
This year, corporate income tax payments showed an increase of 16.7%, or 87.4 billion, reaching 612.4 billion rubles. For the first half of the year, 58% of the annual planned volume was received.
More than half of the annual payment plan for special tax regimes was fulfilled (by 58.1%). According to the results of the first six months of 2022, the corresponding budget revenues amounted to 106.4 billion rubles, which is 6% of the total volume of Moscow budget revenues. Growth compared to the first six months of 2021 amounted to 25.9%, or RUB 21.9 billion.
City revenues from tax levied using the simplified taxation system in January-June 2022 reached 98.4 billion rubles, from tax levied in connection with the application of the patent taxation system – 4.6 billion, from professional income tax – 3.4 billion, for corporate property tax – 83.6 billion rubles.
Cash expenditures of the Moscow budget for the first half of 2022 reached 1 trillion 635.6 billion rubles. During this period, 1 trillion 556.1 billion rubles, or 95.1% of all expenses, were allocated to finance all 13 state programs of the city. The increase in expenditure compared to the previous year amounted to 186.6 billion rubles, or 12.9%.
