Moscow court fines Wikipedia for refusing to remove banned content

The judicial district of the magistrate in Moscow again fined the Wikimedia Foundation (owner of the Russian-language Wikipedia) 800 thousand rubles for not deleting false information.
It follows from the materials of the case that the fine was imposed for false information about the tabligh Jamaat terrorist group banned in Russia.
“Find the Wikimedia Foundation guilty under Part 2 of Art. 13.41 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation and impose a penalty on the organization in the form of a fine in the amount of 800 thousand rubles, ”the judge ruled (quote according to TASS).
At the end of February 2023, the court fined Wikimedia 2 million rubles. for refusing to remove publications about three military units of the armed forces. On April 6, 2023, the owner of Wikipedia was also fined 800 thousand rubles for not deleting the lyrics of the songs of the Psyche group. On April 13, the company was fined another 2 million rubles. for not deleting fake data about the actions of the Russian military on the territory of the Zaporozhye region.
