Moscow and Kaliningrad are bypassed from the West // Senator and member of the CEC reported on foreign interference in Russian elections

Western countries are trying to influence the election of the governor of the Kaliningrad region and municipal deputies in Moscow. Senator Andrei Klimov and member of the Central Election Commission Igor Borisov came to this conclusion during a joint press conference on Tuesday. According to them, in the capital, media-foreign agents are actually “inciting” the Russian audience to protest voting, and in the Kaliningrad region, interference in the campaign is “hinted” by the decision of a Lithuanian bank to stop rail transit operations to the region exactly ten days before the election date. However, the Kaliningrad electoral committee has not yet noticed any “interference” in the elections, and the expert believes that the authorities should not be afraid of voting in Moscow either.
